OK beer aficionados, we’re down to the final few days of Beer Week, and we’ve got some very important updates to share!
LOWER HAIGHT BAR CRAWL
If you’re taking part in our Lower Haight bar crawl, make sure to visit any remaining bars on your card this weekend and get that sucker punched.
We’ve heard that some folks haven’t had the best luck getting their cards punched at Toronado. Turns out they’ve been pretty slammed this week (unsurprisingly), so they’ve told us to go ahead and give everyone an honorary punch. So, no need to present your card at Toronado — we’ll assume you’ve been there this week. Because you probably have.
And if you haven’t started the bar crawl yet, it’s not too late! Just drop by any of the other 7 bars in the neighborhood — Nickies, The Page, Mad Dog, Maven, Danny Coyle’s, Noc Noc, or Molotov’s — and ask for a card. Then, order beers at any of those bars, and get your card punched. There are plenty of great events at our local bars this weekend, including barleywine festivals, Sierra Nevada and Firestone tap takeovers, and an Allagash Bash. See our beer page for the full calendar.
PARTY AT UNDERGROUND SF THIS SUNDAY
Finally, join us this Sunday night, February 17th, from 7pm to 11pm at Underground SF for a free party celebrating the end of Beer Week. We’ll have DJ Al Lover and Epicsauce DJs spinning tunes, beer from Lagunitas, Anchor Steam, and (hopefully) Magnolia, a slew of Haighteration pint glasses to give away, and a handful of prizes from local merchants. Everybody who shows up will get a chance to win, but there’ll be special rewards for those with punchcards — especially if those punchcards are completed. Also, there’s no cover, it’s local, and Monday is a holiday. What’s not to like?
For all the latest info on our party, and to join, visit our event page. We’ll have final details to share on Sunday.
In the meantime, happy beering!
