Hosting a Super Bowl party on Sunday? Not sure what food to serve? You’ve got plenty of options right here in the neighborhood for catering your big shindig.
Wing Wings has posted a special menu for the event, with various packages available. There are packs of wings, ranging from 25 wings for $23, to 100 wings plus four large sides for $110. There are also sandwich packs, biscuits, pigs in a blanket, and more. They’ll be taking orders up until game day, but recommend getting your order in early in case they reach capacity. Orders on Sunday should be placed at least an hour ahead for pick-up, and an hour and a half for delivery.
Memphis Minnie’s has three separate packages available. Each one includes pork ribs, whole chickens, brisket or pork, sides, and corn bread — they just vary in quantity. The starter package serves a party of 5 to 7 people and costs $99.95, while the largest (20 – 25 people) costs $349.95. Memphis Minnie’s GM Tom Campbell tells us you should place your order as soon as possible, though they will continue to take orders up until game time.
Greenburger’s has a special catering menu for the big game. Chicken fingers are $10 a dozen, sliders (including a veggie sloppy joe option) are available by the pound, and items like Buffalo mac ‘n’ cheese and turkey chili are offered on a per-person basis. There are also salads, cornbread, wings, and cole slaw. Orders must be placed by noon on Thursday.
And for what it’s worth, Christian from Wing Wings and Tom from Memphis Minnie’s both hail from Baltimore. So, Niners fans, definitely feel free to talk some respectful smack to them when you pick up your order.
