It has 10 classrooms, three offices, and a 9000 square foot playground.
And it can all be yours for just $30,000 a month.
Yes, this 3-story school building on Fell Street popped up on Craigslist this week.
The 1926 building is located at 735 Fell Street, between Fillmore and Webster. It was originally known as the Sacred Heart School, and most recently housed the Megan Furth Academy. Megan Furth combined with the Mission Dolores School last year to form the Mission Dolores Academy on 16th Street, and the building is now up for grabs.
The only catch is, it’s zoned for use as a school, so unfortunately you won’t be able to turn this into your fantasy party mansion. Also, the building is considered a “known historic resource” by the Planning Department, so that might make it a little hard to alter.
But, if you have use for an as-is 1920s-era school building, get on it.
