Rare Device, a boutique gift store and art gallery currently located at Market and Guerrero, will soon be moving to Divisadero.
According to a post on the shop’s blog, Rare Device will be relocating to 600 Divisadero, at the corner of Hayes — the former home of Divisadero Meat Market, which closed in September 2010.

With the larger digs, Rare Device will be able to host a permanent mini-store for Little Otsu, a Portland-based publishing shop, within the space. The two partnered for a pop-up shop this past summer, and, as Little Otsu puts it, “it seemed like a natural fit.”
If all goes well, look for Rare Device to open in the new space in March. We’ll keep an eye on it.
