We’ve got details on tomorrow night’s fundraiser event at the Peacock Lounge to benefit the tenants who were displaced by last week’s fire at Haight and Fillmore. Plus, want to know how you can make a donation online, or stay informed of the latest developments? We’ve got the scoop.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) night at the Peacock Lounge, it’s the benefit event of the season!

Your $10 donation at the door gets you into a magical world of fun, music, food, and prizes.

Snack on bites from the likes of Wing Wings, Memphis Minnie’s, and Chilli Cha Cha. Enjoy the cool refreshment of Three Twins, making their triumphant return to the neighborhood to live-scoop at the event. Wash it all down with beer from Mad Dog in the Fog, and/or cocktails from the Peacock Lounge bar.

And purchase tickets to a raffle of amazing prizes and gift certificates from the likes of Booksmith, Blackbird, Idle Hand Tattoo, Lower Haters, Merch, Method, Nosh This, Three Twins, Thriving Life Wellness, Uva Enoteca, and more!

This all goes down from 7pm to 10pm at the Peacock Lounge, 552 Haight St, and it all benefits the 31 tenants who were displaced by last Tuesday’s fire. Get more details — and RSVP! — over on the event’s Facebook page.

Make a Donation

Want to contribute, but can’t make tomorrow night’s event?

If you live in the area, you can drop off a donation (monetary or otherwise) in person at Rooky Ricardo’s Records (442 Haight). Many of the displaced tenants are saying they don’t have a need for specific items yet as they’re still trying to find housing, but if you really want to donate clothes or other items, Rooky’s will hang onto them for you.

Also, you can now make a contribution online.

The Lower Haight Merchants and Neighbors Association (LoHaMNA) has set up a webpage where you can make a donation via credit card or checking account. Check it out here:

Stay Informed

Finally, to keep informed of all the latest ins and outs of the relief effort, and to get news if you’re a tenant who was affected by the fire, go ahead and Like the Haight + Fillmore Fire Relief Facebook Page. LoHaMNA is keeping that updated with everything you need to know, plus it’s a great place to get answers if you have a question related to the fire.

That’s it for now, but we’ll keep you updated with any more developments. And we’ll see you tomorrow night at the Peacock Lounge — right?
