There are plenty of good reasons to want to grab a drink tonight — the weather, the fire, a certain Apple founder’s passing — and Toronado’s got just the event to help you forget your troubles. Especially if you own a pair of lederhosen.
Yes, tonight is the annual Oktoberfest celebration at Toronado, sponsored by Spaten. The event promises German beer, food, and Oompah music courtesy of The Internationals. There will also be a costume contest for the best-looking dirndl and lederhosen outfit, if by some chance you have those lying around. (If not, check Costumes on Haight?)
This all kicks off at 7pm, and is scheduled to run until 10pm. There’s also a second Spaten-sponsored Oktoberfest event at Zeitgeist starting at 4:30pm, in case you want to double up. Just don’t drive from one to the other, okay?
