Looking for something fun to do tonight? Look no further than the 500 block of Haight Street.
From 7 to 10pm, Lower Haters hosts the opening reception for “No Room to Breathe,” works by artists Chris Jehly and Kurt Kemp.
Curator Lynzy Blair describes the pairing of Jehly and Kemp thusly: “Once a mentor/mentee relationship, the two have partnered to celebrate their individuals skills and join forces all in one fell swoop.”
The show opens tonight at Lower Haters (597 Haight) and runs through October 12th.

Meanwhile, a few doors east and across the street, D-Structure and Scoutmob collaborate to host, well, a big party.
Make sure you have the Scoutmob app on your iPhone or Android phone — it’s your passport to enter the event. Once inside, enjoy complimentary drinks courtesy of Widmer Beer, music by DJ Ollie, and take home a keepsake from the night via the latest party sensation, the make-your-own flipbook machine.
And here’s a reward for the early birds out there — the first 25 people to show up get a gift bag door prize.
This all goes down from 8pm to 11pm at D-Structure, 520 Haight.
