On Monday night, a 20-year-old man was found dead on Webster between Fell and Hayes, the apparent victim of a gunshot wound to the head.
According to SF Weekly, police identified the man as Sean Everette Wilson. Wilson was reportedly found after police responded to reports of gunfire around 11:40pm Monday night. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and no other information has been made public at this time.
Meanwhile, neighbors are planning a meeting to both address concerns about violence in the neighborhood and rally support for Wilson’s family. The victim was reportedly the oldest of four children, and his mother lives in the neighborhood.
