How’s that for a headline?
No, “Fecal Face” isn’t just a highfalutin way of calling someone a doody-head — it’s the newest gallery space in the Lower Haight, and it opens tonight!
Like we mentioned in last week’s leftovers, Fecal Face Dot Gallery has relocated to the Lower Haight from its previous location at 66 Gough Street, an address it had called home for the past three years.
Tonight, the new FFDG throws open its doors at 248 Fillmore from 7 to 10pm with West, Wester, Westest Part 2, a group show curated by Ryan Travis Christian. Most of the artists in the show are from Chicago (where Christian resides), and many have never shown their work in San Francisco before. Should be something special!
So, Upper Playground, Fifty24SF, Lower Haters, D-Structure, and now Fecal Face… can we officially declare the Lower Haight the creative epicenter of San Francisco or what?
