Want to own the Lower Haight’s only true nightclub?

Now you can — for a cool $1.5 million.

Well, $1,495,000, to be precise.

A few weeks ago, a realtor tipped us to the fact that Underground SF (at 424 Haight) was going on the market, and that the building’s owner was looking to part with either the property, the business, or both.

Now comes this realty listing for the entire building, described thusly:

3 Unit Mixed Use property in the heart of the Lower Haight Commercial District. Two large, light-filled 3 + bedroom, 2 bath flats overlie a successful nightclub that operates with entertainment and type 48 liquor licenses. The residential flats each have 3 bedrooms, an office/den, a dining and living room, two bathrooms, an ample kitchen and an enclosed porce and retain classic Victorian architectural details including high ceilings and original door and window trim. Both residential units to be delivered vacant. Property may be eligible for fast-track condo conversion. Ideal for an owner-operator or for an investor interested in acquiring a Classic SF Victorian producing market rental rates in an up-and-coming commercial district.

The ad then very discreetly mentions that there’s a “Nightclub for sale also.” So, our understanding is that you could buy just the club and not the building, if you prefer.

There will be a tour of the property this Tuesday, March 15th — yes, Haighteration Birthday Bash Tuesday (coincidence??) — from 11am to 12:30pm, if you’re interested!
