Pints of Pliny the Elder Ice Cream Available at Three Twins; Proceeds Go to Japan Relief

If you missed our Birthday Bash last Tuesday, then you probably didn’t get a chance to taste the amazing Pliny the Elder ice cream that Three Twins created especially for the occasion out of the popular Russian River beer. Based on feedback from the folks lining up out the door all night, we’d say the ice cream was a huge hit.

Well, if you didn’t get to sample any back then, here’s your second chance. Because today, Three Twins is bringing the flavor back.

For a limited time, Three Twins will be selling pints of the ice cream in its scoop shop on Fillmore, with 100% of proceeds going to relief efforts in Japan. Pints can also be ordered at Three Twins’ two other locations, and at their Petaluma factory.

They’ve set the price at a not-insignificant $20 per pint — but, when you think of it as donating $20 to charity and getting a pint of rare, delicious ice cream out of it, it suddenly sounds way more than reasonable. We can’t imagine these will last very long, so get on over to Three Twins while supplies last.
