You know a day is gonna be special when it starts with split-second hailstorms and double rainbows, right?
Well, wait till you see how it ends!
Tonight’s the night you’ve almost definitely been waiting for — it’s Haighteration in 3D, the pop-up experience!
As you probably know by now, 248 Fillmore is currently home to the Noise Pop-Up Shop, a space that’s constantly changing throughout February in anticipation of the annual Noise Pop Festival, which kicks off next week.
Tonight it’s Haighteration’s turn to curate the shop! Come on down any time between 6pm and 10pm tonight for a rockin’ good time. We’ll have:
- Pulled pork sliders and cheese grit sticks from Memphis Minnie’s!
- A keg of Kalifornia Kolsch golden ale from Magnolia!
- Throwback party music courtesy of Rooky Ricardo’s!
But wait, there’s more!
While you’re enjoying your free food, booze, and tunes, feast your eyes on some serious neighborhood hotness.
We’ve got tales of ridiculous Lower Haight crimes from a hundred years ago, as pictured above!
Plus, more than fifty highlights from the past year of Haighteration coverage:
And we have a feeling you’ll enjoy a brand-spankin’-new chapter in our most popular story evah, the Lower Haight of Yesteryear — blown up to museum size for your easy-gawking pleasure!
But wait, there’s EVEN MORE!
We’ll have a couple of brand new Haighteration stories, including an exclusive about Bistro St. Germain! Wondering what it’s turning into? We’ve got the full scoop — and we’re posting it in the pop-up shop before anywhere else!
We! Are! Using! So! Many! Exclamation! Points!
Plus there’s a giant interactive map, stuff with markers and stickers (you can leave comments — on everything), and heck, you might even win yourself a t-shirt.
This all kicks off tonight at 6pm at 248 Fillmore St, and it’s 100% free. Beer and food will be in limited supply, so we suggest getting there earlier rather than later if you’re hungry/thirsty.
OH, and one more thing — we’ll be there, so feel free to come on up and say hello! We won’t bite, no matter how nicely you ask.
So grab a friend, a roommate, or a nearby stranger, and come on down. Yes? Yes.
See you there!
