So We Got This Space For a Night. What Should We Do With It?

OK Haighteration readers — we need your help on this one!

The annual Noise Pop Festival is coming to San Francisco in February. From the 22nd to the 27th, there’ll be concerts, art exhibits, and film screenings all around town, and it’ll almost certainly be awesome.

To celebrate and promote the fest, the folks at NP have teamed up with Upper Playground to create a sort of ever-changing pop-up shop in the Fifty24SF space at 248 Fillmore St. It’ll be curated by a different host each night for most of February.

And that’s where we come in!

Haighteration has been invited to host the space on Wednesday, February 16th, from 6-10pm. And we can do pretty much whatever we want in there, within the limits of the law, our non-existent budget, and our imaginations!

A few details: the space will be outfitted with a P.A. system and a projector if we want ‘em, but will otherwise be pretty empty. Also, it’s a small space, with a maximum capacity of maybe 30-40 people.

So readers, we turn to you. Any ideas for what we should do that night? Art gallery? Fundraiser? Movie night? We’re open to pretty much anything. We just need to decide this week — so if you have any suggestions, please leave a comment!
