The Lower Haight Merchants and Neighbors Association (LoHaMNA) has organized a neighborhood meeting Wednesday night to discuss safety and security in the Lower Haight.
The meeting will take place this Wednesday, February 2nd, at the mysterious, magical Peacock Lounge (552 Haight), from 7pm to 8:30pm. All are welcome to attend.
We’re told that Captain Ann Mannix from the SFPD Northern Station will be there, along with a couple of beat cops from the neighborhood. Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi has also been invited to attend.
Also, if you can’t make Wednesday night’s meeting, there will be a larger Public Safety Meeting in a few days to address issues concerning Hayes Valley, the Lower Haight, and Western Addition. That meeting is set for February 7th at 7PM at the Korean American Community Center, 745 Buchanan Street.
If you have questions about Wednesday night’s meeting, contact LoHaMNA president Thea Selby at 415-309-9410.
