We don’t usually report on Upper Haight events, but since it’s a slow rainy Sunday, here’s one for you music fans out there.
Today at 1pm, Mike Gordon from Phish will be performing a free acoustic concert on the block of Ashbury between Haight and Page, right outside Ben & Jerry’s.
The event is part of Ben & Jerry’s series of “Secret Shows” featuring bands from the Bonnaroo Music Festival. Gordon is in town for a sold-out show tonight at the Independent.
We haven’t been able to confirm whether this thing’s proceeding regardless of the weather, but given how Phish fans will travel to the ends of the earth to see the band perform live, something tells us a little rain won’t deter anybody.
