The bad news: Today is the last day for Alex Pardee’s Zerofriends Pop-Up Shop on Fillmore.
The good news: they’re going out with a live in-store performance by hip-hop artists Aesop Rock and Cage along with DJ Chauncey.
The store at 248 Fillmore will be open from noon until 3pm today, after which it’ll close to prep for the performance. Then, doors will open back up at 4:45pm for the 5pm show.
Given how small the space is, they’re only expecting to let the first 50 people in. So, expect some sidewalk overflow. Potentially a lot.
Though, with Game 3 of the World Series happening at the same time, this won’t be the only spot in the neighborhood with overflow crowds. Should be a pretty amazing afternoon in the Lower Haight.
