A few new details have come to light about the stabbing death of Phil DiMartino, whose body was found by a co-worker in his Hermann St. apartment last Monday.
As was reported by several sites yesterday and confirmed to us by the SFPD this morning, police now believe the suspect may be a Hispanic male. Additionally, they have reason to believe the suspect may have cut his hand during the stabbing.
Finally, the Examiner reports that police believe the stabbing may have occurred Friday, July 30th — three days before DiMartino’s body was discovered.
