Hot off the Haighteration calendar, we’ve got two pretty unique events to get your Friday night a-hoppin’.

First, the Lower Haight’s own D-Structure teams up with LAZERTITS, a site that single-handedly justifies the invention of Photoshop, to present a night dubbed “TITTASTIC”.

The event features three bands — Lurv, Death Valley High, and Bad Mammal, t-shirt giveaways, and, supposedly, appearances by the Lazertits girls who “will be coming out with their Lazer Bras and shooting Lazers at your face!” Yowch!

This all goes down at Sub-Mission (2183 Mission St) at 9pm. It’s 18+ and there’s a $5 cover. D-Structure’s been kind enough to give us 2 FREE tickets to give away — the first person to email us at andrew [at] haighteration {{dot}} com gets ‘em! Sorry folks, the free tickets have now been claimed!

And now for something completely different!

The Hayes Valley Farm presents “DUSKER,” a party to celebrate the completion of their new greenhouse and the end of summer.

While we’re not even prepared to celebrate the beginning of SF’s summer yet, let alone the end, this sounds like an event worth checking out. They’re gonna have:

  • A design exhibition and tours by architects from Studio 12 Architecture and REBAR
  • Live music mix by Cyclist and others
  • Multi-screen visuals by EdibleOffice/Zoey Kroll and others
  • Hand-crafted libations, special market fare, and locally-sourced consumables by the Farmenters
  • Event-specific merch / live henna tattooing / portraiture

The event runs from 4:30 – 8:30pm at Hayes Valley Farm, and a $5 donation would no doubt be appreciated.

So there you go — two events to get your weekend started right. Enjoy!
