Hint: It ain’t the traffic.
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of walking down the north side of Oak Street between Scott and Divisadero, then you’ve probably gotten a lungful or two from this stealth bomber right here.
Tucked behind an unassuming gate between two residential units, this port-a-john (which is “provided by the City and County of San Francisco,” so I guess we’re all paying for it), produces a stench that can derail even the most powerful train of thought.
Certainly the good folks who work in and around the Touchless Carwash and Kelly-Moore Paint Store deserve a private space to get relief, but couldn’t we put this foul monster somewhere a little less… sidewalk-adjacent?
