Not sure how we missed this last week, but BIKE NOPA reports that the MTA is in the process of re-timing signals on Fell and Oak Streets to slow traffic.
Shortening the duration of green lights will supposedly bring reduced speeding, longer opportunities for pedestrians to cross the street, longer green lights for cars on cross streets, and fewer delays on the 24 Divisadero and 22 Fillmore bus lines.
Win, win, win, win, hallelujah.
