We’re not sure what we’ve done to deserve this cosmic convergence of carbs, but the planets have aligned to bring us free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and Starbucks pastries today.
The Starbucks deal is only valid in the morning, and it’s kinda complicated. You have to print a coupon (or load it up on your phone), bring it into a Starbucks before 10:30am, order a drink, and they’ll give you a free pastry. Try it at the Church and Market location, or any of the other million Starbuckses in the city.
The Ben & Jerry’s deal, on the other hand, is simple: free cones from 12-8pm. Not bad for a day that’s supposed to hit 70. The only catch, of course, is that you have to venture into the Upper Haight.
